Wow, I can't tell you how nice it feels to walk into our warehouse and see the yerba mate piled high to the ceiling! It has been a long haul waiting for this container to arrive. The many "things" that could have possibly gone wrong to delay the shipment came into play. This is the first time since Aviva became a company in 1999 that we had run out of loose product. We were, however, still able to keep our tea bags rolling out the door. Thank you to those customers that purchased the tea bags (pssst, by the way, a pound of tea bags has been reduced to $20— this deal won't last too much longer). OK, that was the glass being half empty. Now, it is time for the glass to be half full. The ranch indicated when the shipment left Paraguay that this is the best product they have shipped north. I tend to agree, and say at the very least it is certainly as good as the last shipment. Under the supervision of Jack Carson at the ranch, the yerba mate team worked very hard on the cleaning of the sticks stems and fine powder. Because the screening is completed by hand, the workers on the ranch take a lot of pride in the end product. I would like to thank all of the people on the ranch and in the city of Asuncion (you know who you are) for providing us with this fine Wild Harvest yerba mate. Now that we have product in house, Aviva will move forward as we have these past seven years we've been in business, offering the highest quality in traditional yerba mate with the highest of standards for quality control and customer service. We want to thank all of our customers who have continuously given us their business over the years. To all of you who have ordered since we turned the "buy" links back on, thank you for your patience. As you can imagine, we were inundated with orders both over the Internet and wholesale customers.
